Guarantee

Deeplas white PVC-U products have a manufacturers 20-year guarantee against warping and cracking. Coloured products have a manufacturers 10-year guarantee.

Fascias

Facia boards are the vertical boards which 'face-out' the roofline, they are attached to the end of the roof rafters and generally provide the fixing surface for the guttering. Strength and rigidity is critical as the boards needs to cope with extremes of temperature from winter frosts to the heat of direct sun in summer. Colour-fastness is also important to resist fading and discolouration caused by sunlight and atmospheric pollutants.

The Deeplas fascia boards we use are 16-18mm thick to cope with the severest weather and come in a range of attractive colours - there are alternatives to white! BBA and CSTB accredited, as well as being BSI kitemarked, the Deeplas fasica boards represent the best in quality material and being manufactured from a lead-free calcium organic PVC-U compound they create a minimal environmental impact in their manufacture.

Soffits

Soffit boards are the horizontal boards which fit between the fascias and the wall of the property to close the space created by the overhang of the rafters. While the soffit is not usually subject to the same amount of direct heat from the sun as fascias or bargeboards it is still vitally important that it is rigid and able to support it's own weight without sagging over time. The Deeplas soffit boards are 8-10mm solid boards and come in a range of widths.

Peg tiled or slate roofs are ventilated by a grill forming part of the soffit which allows for expansion and contraction of the air in the roofspace and helps to prevent damaging condensation in the roofspace.

Bargeboards

Bargeboards are the vertical facings attached to the gable ends - they are often the hardest part of the roofline to reach and maintain and replacing them with Deeplas bargeboards is a valuable improvement to a property. Being fully exposed (often at a greater height than the remainder of the roofline) the bargeboard replacements again need to be strong and durable - the average density of the Deeplas boards is 500 kg/m3.

Rainwater goods

Our standard range of PVC guttering and downpipes is manufactured by Flowplast. It is available in black, white and brown and in half-round and square profiles. We have used this guttering for many years and found it to be reliable, durable and cost-effective.

BIM regulations are beginning to affect the materials specifications in our market - rainwater systems will likely be moving to more carbon efficient eco-friendly materials. We are virtually unchallenged in offering both galvanised steel Lindab guttering (with a 15 year colourfast guarantee) and the Marley Alutec aluminium powder-coated guttering (which has a 40 year colourfast guarantee). All Deeplas system components are manufactured and supplied to strict quality standards backed by ISO 9001 certification. Deeplas profiles are manufactured in accordance with BS 7619.
